WaterBaby Pregnancy Drink - Giveaway

On January 14th, my little blog turns 2 years old! Can you believe it!? Time has seriously flown by. Throughout January, I'll have a few competitions running for you all but I'm sneaking one in now for early celebrations.

Back in February when I was around 3 months pregnant with E, you may remember that I was given the opportunity to review WaterBaby. If you missed my review you can read that here.

WaterBaby is a water drink specially formulated for pregnant women and it has added vitamins such as zinc and calcium, as well as the recommended daily intake of folic acid.

The lovely people at WaterBaby have offered my readers the chance to win a pack of 12 bottles. All you need to do is fill in the Rafflecopter widget below. None of the options are mandatory but the more you do, the better chance you have of winning. The winner will be chosen within 48 hours of the competition ending and will be emailed. The prize will be dispatched directly from WaterBaby. The competition will end Dec 2nd. UK residents only. Good luck!

As this is a consumable product, it does have an expiry date of Jan 2015.

Smartphone Mums - are you backing up your photographs?

We're truly in a era of technology with 92% of mums using smartphones to snap precious photos of their children. New research conducted by Nero shows that 42% of these mums would lose everything if their phone was broken or lost. A fifth of these have lost a treasured photo already.

Out of the 67% of mums who do back up their photos, 76% use their computer and 49% use their social media accounts despite the fact that some sites "own your images" when you do this.

On average, mums will snap around 1.1 photos per day but 7% snap 100 a month (I'm probably a heck of a lot more than that!). A quarter of the mums surveyed said that they have over 200 photographs saved on their phones and one mum even admitted that she would lose 12,000 pictures if she lost her phone!

Please, please, please back up your photos so that your children will still have their childhood photos when they are older! Nero actually have a FREE cloud storage called BackItUp, what are you waiting for? Get saving!

Chillipeeps NEW 3 in 1 Teats & 3 in 1 Spouts - Giveaway

The multi award-winning Chillipeeps are one of the most brilliant baby ideas that I have come across. Launched at the end of September this year, the teats are suitable for babies aged 3-12mths+ and the spouts are suitable for babies aged 6-12mths+.

The idea of Chillipeeps is that they attach on to ready-made formula bottles (such as Aptamil, Cow & Gate and Infatrini), ready-made formula cartons (such as SMA and Hipp) and to Volvic and Evian water bottles.

Chillipeeps were developed by a mum so they know what other mums need and want. They are made in the UK and are BPA free. Also, any standard neck teat or spout can fit into the Chillipeeps adapter. They are easy to wash and are suitable for use in steam sterilisers and dishwashers.

Chillipeeps have been kind enough to offer my readers the chance to win a set of the 3 in 1 Teats and a set of the 3 in 1 spouts! All you need to do is fill in the Rafflecopter widget below. The competition will run from the 18th November until the 2nd December. Good luck! a Rafflecopter giveaway

Christmas Gift Ideas for The Music Lover: Jam Rewind Wireless Speaker

Chris and I love music and to be honest, I don't think I know anyone who doesn't!

We were recently given the opportunity to try out a Jam Rewind Wireless Speaker and before I could even open it out of its packaging, Chris had snatched it off me to charge it up.

Firstly, it looks like a cassette tape (remember those!?). So retro! It comes with a USB lead too so it fits perfectly into the plug for my iPhone charger or I can charge it through my laptop. It's small so it can be carried around too.

Once charged, the battery lasts for around 8 hours of continuous play. The sound that comes out of it is amazing, you really wouldn't expect it for such a small speaker. The speakers actually vibrate with the bass (baby E loves this and it settles her to sleep!)

Playing music through it is simple as it works using Bluetooth. I have an iPhone so it's simply a case of me switching the speaker on then going to 'Bluetooth' in my settings. It comes up "Jam Rewind" then you just click and it connects. I play my music through Spotify so when I choose a playlist in starts playing through the speaker automatically.

The speaker has buttons on the top for power, next, play, pause, rewind and volume. There are also lights for the battery and Bluetooth. The battery light will shine red when it needs charged and the Bluetooth one shines blue when it is connected. It has an audio prompt to let you know when it is switching on, off and is paired.

There are USB and audio in jacks so that you can also use it if you don't own a Bluetooth device.

The Jam Rewind Wireless Speaker would make the perfect gift for any music lover this Christmas! It retails at £79.99 and can be purchased from HMV, Game or Argos.
