Damart Shawl Collar Cardigan Review

Autumn is truly in full swing and my wardrobe seriously needs an update. I wear a thin black hoody everything and coming into the colder weather, it just doesn't cut it anymore. Cue Damart.

I was sent a gorgeous Shawl Collar Cardigan from Damart and on opening, I just wanted to put it on right away.

I love a cable knit jumper so this was a huge hit with me!

It has gorgeous chunky buttons too so it's really easy to fasten - no fiddling.

It is made from 80% acrylic and 20% mohair. On first wear, the mohair did itch around my neck and upper back (I have sensitive skin) but after a quick wash we had no further problems.

The shawl cardigan has a great length to it - mid-thigh - so it does keep you warm in cool days. The problem that I usually have with cardigans is that there is nothing going on around the neck and it does get chilly so I really love the shawl (plus it adds a bit of style!)

I've worn my shawl collar cardigan basically non-stop since it arrived and it has well and truly earned its place in my wardrobe. At a price of £39, I do believe that this cardigan will last me for quite a few years!

You can find out more about Damart at their website, Facebook and Twitter

(Disclaimer: I received this cardigan free of charge in exchange for an open and honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.)
