How Well do you Know your Sports Grounds?

I am a huge fan of sports (watching mainly, not playing, with the exception of tennis - I love to play!). When I was a kid I'd always sit and watch tennis, snooker and, most regularly, football with my dad as he is a huge Manchester United fan. I followed in his footsteps and begged him to get me a Man Utd shirt and yes, I am a girl who knows the offside rule!

Fast-forward ten or so years and I still love watching but with my boyfriend Chris rather than my dad. He isn't the biggest of football fans and much prefers rugby so when we got together, I started watching rubgy matches too. The Rugby World Cup is now in full swing and this is my first time really getting involved and watching them all - I'm totally rooting for Ireland!

Despite watching a lot, I'm pretty rubbish when it comes to naming where sports teams play. I'm pretty good with the biggies such as Old Trafford, Anfield and Stamford Bridge but I am a bit clueless with anything else! Compost Direct have put together a really fun quiz called, "Name That Sports Ground" so I decided to give it a go and see just how terrible I am. I got zero. ZERO correct! What!?

Okay, so that was a bit huge fail! Why don't you give it a go and tell me if you can beat me? Leave your results in the comments, I'd love to see how well you all do!

JD Sports Nike Trainers Review

A few weeks ago, I was given the opportunity to review a pair of trainers of my choice from JD Sports. After much deliberation, I chose a gorgeous pair of Nike Blazers Lo's (worth £65) in size 6. JD Sports are my first port of call when choosing trainers so I was very pleased.

I couldn't wait to receive them and fell in love as soon as I opened the box.

I am usually a size 6 and these fitted really well. The soles are so comfortable it is like walking on clouds (I'm really not joking!). This may sound bit strange, but I do get annoyed at lace length. Many a time, I've been tying my laces and they've been either too short or too long but I have no complaints with these trainers.

My skin is very sensitive. Not just on my feet but all over my body. Every little thing irritates or itches me (I always have to cut the labels out of my t-shirts) and initiall, I did have a bit of a problem with rubbing. I wore them around the house as soon as they arrived then I headed for a 1 hour walk to college. The backs started to rub on my ankles and they did bleed. As I said, I'm used to this. It happens with almost every pair of shoes that I own. I could either keep wearing them until I broke them in or find a solution. I found a solution. Heel grips. I stuck heel grips inside the shoes and I fell in love with them all over again. I never have them off my feet!

You can find JD Sports at their website, Facebook and Twitter.
