What I've Won: Dec 2015

December is my absolute favourite comping month. I look forward to all the advents (even though they take up so much time!) and I think I've done pretty well this month!

In December, I won:

1) In The Night Garden calendar (RRP £10.00) from In The Night Garden Live

I won this in their advent competition (I think a lot of people did!) and it was a lovely way to start off my December wins.

2) Bundle of kids books (RRP £32.96) from Harper360
Another advent win!

3) £20 spend at @milliesmarket15
This was an Instagram competition and I've chosen lots of lovely bows for E.

4) Make up bundle (RRP £20.00) from @karawillow
This was a Twitter win that I've gifted to my sister as she loves make up!

5) Gluten free cookies (RRP £5.20) from Angelic Gluten Free
My best friend is coeliac so I'm always seeking out gluten free goodies for her.

6) Santa Baby book (RRP £10.99) from @norries_girl
We have tons of books so this is a lovely addition to our collection!

7) Christian Lacroix Advent Calendar (RRP £49.95) from Under The Christmas Tree
I won this in their first day of advents. I can't believe how pricey it is!

8) Frozen necklace (RRP £12.00) from Funky Laser
This was another advent win, I love it!

9) Sex toy (RRP £12.99) from Lovehoney
Haha, this was in their advent comp too. I've forgotten to photograph it but it's this if anyone is interested!

10) Toby's Travelling Circus goodies from Tiny Pop
Toby's Travelling Circus is C's favourite Tiny Pop show so I was so chuffed to win this for him.

11) £50 spend at Lily & Me from Slummy Single Mummy
I very rarely treat myself to clothes so this is a lovely win!

12) Grand Ferrero Rocher (RRP £5.00) from Ferrero Rocher
I won this in their instant win competition that was run on Facebook.

13) Spam cookbook from Spam
Another advent win!

14) Sleek eyeshadow palette (RRP £7.49) from Melissa Jane Lee
This was a blog advent win. I've gifted it to my sister who is make up obsessed.

15) Bandana bibs (RRP £10.00) from Minene UK
This was another advent win but on Instagram this time. I've yet to receive them but they are super cute!

16) Lifesum 1 year gold membership (RRP £24.28) from Futures
I'm so pleased with this win! I really need to start eating healthily and taking better care of myself so I'm sure it will be a huge help.

17) Pizza Co voucher (RRP £19.95) from Pizza Co Belfast
I won this in their Facebook competition and it was quite low entry. It's our favourite pizza takeaway so it's perfect as we're always buying from them.

18) Personalised wrapping paper (RRP £4.99) from Dom & Geri
This is so cute and such a great idea!

19) Palmers goodies (RRP £20.97) from Palmers
This was the prize for day 12 of Palmers 12 Days of Christmas. I love their products.

20) aden + anais muslins (RRP £19.95) from Toby & Roo
These are so cute and muslins are really handy!

21) Burts Bees lip crayon (RRP £8.99) from Burts Bees
I won this in their advent competition and have gifted it to my sister.

22) Cinderella book (RRP £2.00) from Mummy to the Max
Another advent win! E loves it.

23) Star Wars magazine (£2.99) from Disney XD UK
They were giving 100 of these away on Facebook and I think there were only 109 entries!

24) Paw patrol quizzy (RRP £9.95) from The Mini Mes and Me
I was beyond happy to win this. C will love it!

25) Krispy Kreme doughnut tin (RRP £6.95) from Krispy Kreme
I won this in the Krispy Kreme pass the parcel game that was run on Facebook.

26) Ollie & Nic handbag (RRP £60.00) from Willow Lane
I desperately needed a handbag so this is a really handy win. I usually shove all my stuff in the changing bag so this is great for when I'm out without the kids.

27) Bow (RRP £12.00) from Beau xoxo
A bow for me this time! This was another advent win on Twitter.

28) £15 spend on teething jewellery from Mummy and mee
This was an Instagram win and it's great timing as E is teething quite badly!

29) Children's book hamper (RRP £68.93) from Mumsnet Books
I was so excited by this win and it arrived on Christmas Eve so I was able to put some of the books in the kids Christmas Eve box. I didn't expect to get the basket too!

30) Stocking and tee (RRP £35.00) from The Idle Man
This was a nice little win for Chris to end the month!

My total this month is 30 prizes worth £558.53! I've been so excited to add up my yearly total to see if I've beat last years win. In January 2015 I posted that in 2014 I won 126 prizes worth £4,186.02. In 2015 I won...

189 worth £3,206.22!

So more prizes but for less value which isn't surprising as I won two pushchairs in 2014! This has made me even more determined for 2016. Fingers crossed I can beat it!

How have you done this year?

Look in my Letterbox #38

It seems like ages since I've written a LIML post! I took some well needed time away from the blog over Christmas and the New Year and it was wonderful not having to worry about it. Because of this, I now have two weeks worth of LIML's to share! As ever, I'm linking up with Alice-Megan's linky.

Wins:
Lifesum gift card
I'm so excited about this win. I really need to start exercising more and eating better so this will keep me on the right track.

Pizza voucher
Hilarious that this comes after my "I need to start eating better!" This was a local Facebook competition and I received a £20 pizza voucher for our local pizza takeaway.

Sleek eye palette
I won this in a blog advent competition and have gifted it to my sister. She loves it!

Cinderella book
This was another blog advent win for E.

Frame
This is kind of a win and kind of not. I won a £10 voucher to spend at a handmade store on Instagram. I chose this for Chris (and myself) so I only had to add £9 to it.

Handbag
This was another blog competition but one I'm really pleased with! Since having kids I just shove my purse, phone, etc. in the changing bag and when I do go out without the kids I have nothing to bring with me!

Bow
A bow for myself this time!

Cleanser
I won this in the Kinder Bueno purchase necessary comp.

Tee and stocking
I won this a couple of days before Christmas from The Idle Man on Twitter.

Muslins
Another blog win!

Giant Ferrero
This was from Ferrero Rocher's instant win that was run on Facebook. I won Anni one too!

Book basket
I won this from Mumsnet on Twitter a couple of days before Christmas and it arrived on Christmas Eve. I was so pleased as I could add them to the kids Christmas Eve box!

Crabbies
I entered the Crabbies instant win and there was a glitch meaning lots of people were getting winning notifications. I only won a chalice but I think they sent this prize to everyone by way of an apology.

Purchases:
Bows
As if I'd have a post without bows!

Others:
Candy Crush perfume
This was the SoPost freebie. I've put it away "somewhere safe" amidst the chaos of Christmas and cannot for the life of me find it!

Tuta Kids Clothing - Review and Giveaway

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know that I am obsessed with buying clothes for my children. When I had the opportunity to review for Tuta Kids, I jumped at the chance.

Tuta Kids is new to the market and it was launched at The Baby Show. Their aim is to make children look stylish but feel comfortable at the same time. All of their clothes are crafted in Turkey and they have a designer feel but without the designer price tag.

E received one of their gorgeous flower printed jersey dresses (£50.00) in size 12 months and I was excited to receive it just from the photo but once it was actually here, I was blown away. It is a million times better in real life. The quality is amazing.

The skirt is made of a really thick material which makes it perfect for wearing in colder months and it has a super cute tulle material undernearth to help puff it out a bit. The detailing is impeccable. On the front where the belt is, there is a little dangling heart, a huge bow on the back and the zip is invisible which I love! The collar is my absolute favourite part of the dress. It just finishes it off and totally transforms it from a regular dress to a fancy upmarket one.

Invisible zip and bow

It's 100% cotton and I honestly cannot rave about it enough. It's definitely one of my favourite items in E's wardrobe and we've had so many compliments on it. I will definitely buy from Tuta Kids in the future.

If you'd like to get your hands on one for your daughter you can do so at the Tuta Kids website. You can also follow them on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The lovely people at Tuta Kids are also offering my readers the chance to win £50 to spend on their range. To be in with a chance of winning, all you need to do is fill in the Rafflecopter widget below.

T&C's:
  • The giveaway will run from December 21st until January 4th
  • One winner will win £50 to spend at on the Tuta Kids website

Look in my Letterbox #37

This has been a great weeks for wins arriving! I'm really lucky that I've done quite well in the advents (I'm obsessively entering!). As ever, I'm linking up with Look in my Letterbox.

Wins:
Spam cookbook
I won this in Spam's advent competition. My mum actually buys Spam a lot so I'll see if she'd like it!

Miffy
I think I entered every blog competition going for Miffy as I was desperate to get my hands on one. I'm so pleased she's arrived in time for Christmas.

Personalised wrapping paper
This was a twitter win from Dom & Geri. It's so cute and will be great for wrapping family gifts.

Christian Lacroix advent calendar
I won this on day one of Under The Christmas Tree's advent competition and would you believe it's worth £50!? It will have to go away for next year as it arrived a bit late.

Christmas dress
I won this from Lollipops & Daydreams and I was so chuffed when it arrived. I love handmade clothes!

Palmers goodies
This is from Palmer's Day 12 advent competition. I love their stuff! I thought it was just the set so the shampoo and conditioner was a nice surprise.

Burts Bees lip crayon
I won this lip crayon in day 11 of Burts Bees advent competitions. It's such a lovely shade.

Star Wars Rebels magazine
Disney XD UK were giving away 100 of these magazines and I think only 109 people entered!

Purchases:
Christmas skirt
I bought E this gorgeous handmade Christmas skirt from @h_b.2015 on Instagram. It's super cute.

Others:
Bow parcel
E is a brand enthusiast for @leahannboutique on Instagram and we received the cutest little parcel in the post!

Minions goody bag
This was a little thank you to C after doing the Minions @ Specsavers post last week. I forgot to take a photo of the contents before giving it to him but there were some magnets, a pencil case (complete with pencils, sharpener, rubber and notebook), balloons and Haribo sweets - all with Minions on!

Did you receive anything nice this week?

Bob the Builder Magazine

C loves watching TV, something that I always said my kids wouldn't be obsessed with, but I have to admit that he has learned a lot from some shows that he watches and recently Bob the Builder has become one of his favourites.

We had the opportunity to have a little read of the new Bob the Builder magazine from Egmont. C is a huge magazine fan anyway so I was sure it would go down a treat.

The magazine came included with a toy hammer and activity book. The hammer I think was his favourite aspect of it.

The actual magazine is packed full of his favourite characters,  stories, colouring in and plenty of other activities to keep your little ones entertained. Usually I don't see a lot of variety in magazines but this seemed to have a lot more pages than ones we've bought recently. It contains everything from mazes, to number lines to help your child with their writing and even has a poster in the middle!

As you can see from my video below, the hammer and colouring were definitely C's favourites so the fact that it also comes with a completey separate activity book alongside the activities already in the magazine makes it a total winner for only £3.99.

You can get your hands on the new look Bob the Builder magazine at most newsagents and supermarkets.

(Disclaimer: We received a copy of the magazine plus a fee for this post.)
