I think every parent on the planet is familiar with Sudocrem and their signature grey tub and red and white label. When I was pregnant with C, Sudocrem was the only nappy rash cream that I was familiar with as my mum always had a tub at home for use with my little sister.
C isn't usually one to suffer from nappy rash but as we all know, teething can really have an effect on babies and now C is getting his molars + more dirty nappies = nappy rash! For the past few weeks we have been trying out a tube of Sudocrem's Care & Protect ointment.
Sudocrem Care & Protect is a triple care ointment meaning that it offers triple protection for skin that is prone to nappy rash. The protective barrier keeps the skin smooth and protected against external irritants and rubbing, it conditions the skin with vitamin E and pro vitamin B5 to keep it in healthy condition and it guards against infection.
The ointment still has that gorgeous Sudocrem smell (you all know the one I'm talking about, right? I can't be the only one who loves it!) but because it's an ointment, it's a lot thinner and runnier than the traditional cream. I think that this makes it easier to apply though.
I definitely feel that it has eased C's sore little bottom and it can be used at every nappy change. It's hypoallergenic, dermatologically tested and it's free from artificial colours and preservatives.
